The "Play-In" game will be played at 7 p.m. EST on Tuesday (2 days before the start of the 1st round). The winner of the "Play-In" game will advance as the 16 Seed in the 64 team tournament. Because the "Play-In" game will be played before the pool deadline, only entries received before the start of the "Play-In" game will be eligible to receive the 1 point available for picking the "Play-In" game correctly. Entries received after the start of the "Play-In" game will not receive points for the "Play-In" game.
In case of a tie, a tie-breaker will be used to determine the winner. The tie-breaker used will be: The first tie-breaker will be the person who picked the correct champion followed by the most Final 2 teams followed by the most Final 4 teams, etc. If the tie is still not broken, the second tie-breaker will be picking the total points scored by both teams (combined) in the Championship game (including all overtime periods). Make your pick in the box shown at right. If the tie is still not broken, the players will split the appropriate prize(s).
Please check your entry and verify that it is correct. Once the first tournament game has started (not including the "Play-in" game), your entry can not be changed. Once the play-in game has started, your play-in game pick can not be changed. It is your responsibility to check pool scores carefully and report any error in calculation to me immediately.
